Day 1 at Furzedown Primary School
Year 6 were treated to a full day of activities starting with Peter Daniel's History Workshop but just to make sure the information sunk in it was followed by a Who Wants to be a Millionaire-style quiz to test the children's knowledge!
There was also a workshop from Emma Anthony, Archivist at Wandsworth Heritage Service, using the borough's document to run creative learning activities for the children.
The afternoon saw year 6 learn about oral history and how it differs from and complements traditional history before developing some questions for their visitors from the Furzedown Older People's Project who came to the school for a reminiscence session conducted by the children.
